Citrix - Block outdated Citrix Workspace App connections on personal devices
If a user logs a call regarding receiving the below pop-up and then being logged off 30 minutes later they must try and upgrade their Citrix Workspace version by following the steps in the notification and an email notification they will also receive.
The logic will only apply:
1. to personal MAC and Windows devices where the CWA version on the users personal device is lower than the version listed on the staff resource page below.

2. and if the user is a member of the following AD group RG-GLBL-CitrixWorkspaceBlock.
Helpdesk if for some reason you have tried and cannot upgrade their Citrix Workspace version:
1. You can remove the users AD account from the following group RG-GLBL-CitrixWorkspaceBlock so they can re-login to their Citrix desktop.
2. Please then raise the call to the SA queue so this can be reviewed further to see if the SAs are able to upgrade the CWA version on the users personal computer.
3. If the SAs cannot upgrade the CWA version then the user has the option to have a Kennedys laptop, but this should go through the standard process for requesting a Kennedys laptop via asset control.
